How do I book a walk or pet sitting service?

You can fill out our Customer Form or text us directly at (469) 343-7118 with your request. We’ll confirm availability and discuss your pet’s needs.

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve clients in Allen, Plano, McKinney, and nearby neighborhoods in the DFW area.

Are you insured or bonded?

Pace & Paws is an independent, student-run business and does not carry commercial pet care insurance at this time. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own pet insurance coverage. We do require a signed liability waiver.

Do you walk dogs in the rain or extreme heat?

Yes, we walk in light rain but may modify the walk (shorten or play indoors) for safety during storms, high heat, or icy conditions. In summer, we check pavement temperature and offer paw wipe-downs and water breaks.

Can you administer medication?

Yes! We can give oral or topical medications during visits for an additional $5 fee, as long as clear instructions are provided in writing.

Do you walk multiple dogs at once?

We primarily offer one-on-one walks to provide personalized care and safety. If you have more than one dog in your household, we’re happy to walk them together if they're leash-compatible.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 12 hours may be subject to a 50% service charge.

Will I receive updates during visits?

Yes! Every visit includes a quick photo and text update so you know your pup is safe, happy, and cared for.
