This agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms and conditions under which Pace & Paws (“Service Provider”) provides pet care and dog walking services to its clients (“Client”). By engaging services from Pace & Paws, the Client agrees to the following terms:
Pace & Paws offers personalized dog walking and pet care services, including but not limited to:
Individual and specialized dog walks
Add-on services such as brushing, wellness checks, and feeding
Vacation care packages and midday check-ins
All services are rendered with professional attention, compassion, and a commitment to the wellbeing of each animal in our care.
Services must be booked at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.
Cancellations require 24-hour notice to avoid incurring the full service fee.
Same-day or last-minute bookings may be accommodated based on availability but are not guaranteed.
The Client agrees to:
Disclose all relevant health, behavioral, and temperament details for each pet.
Ensure pets are up to date on vaccinations and are non-aggressive.
Provide secure harnesses or collars, ID tags, and access to clean walking equipment.
Maintain a safe and accessible environment for pickup/drop-off and walking routes.
In the event of a medical emergency:
Pace & Paws will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Client or designated emergency contact.
If unreachable, the Service Provider is authorized to seek immediate veterinary care.
The Client agrees to cover any veterinary expenses incurred on their pet’s behalf.
Walks may be modified, shortened, or rescheduled in response to hazardous weather (e.g., thunderstorms, excessive heat, icy conditions).
For the pet’s comfort and safety, alternatives such as indoor enrichment or shaded routes may be provided.
The Client acknowledges and agrees that:
All services are provided at the Client’s own risk.
Pace & Paws is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death of a pet unless resulting from proven negligence.
The Service Provider is not responsible for property damage unless directly caused by the Provider’s actions.
Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been approved.
Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, or other pre-approved digital platforms.
Rates are subject to change with prior notice.
Clients may opt to allow Pace & Paws to share photos of their pet(s) for marketing and promotional use (e.g., social media).
No personal or identifiable client information will be shared without explicit consent.
Either party may discontinue services at any time with notice.
Pace & Paws reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any pet displaying aggressive, destructive, or unsafe behavior.
By booking services, the Client affirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. A digital or physical signature may be requested prior to or at the time of service.
